Anthony Jeselnik may look like the polo-wearing son of every Republican presidential candidate, but this deceiving shell hides one the blackest comic minds ever. Jeselnik is a cross-between the slow-paced non-sequiturs of Steven Wright and the absurdist insultism of Jeffrey Ross. Sporting the smarmy smile of a wrestling heel, Jeselnik tells unimaginably horrific jokes with the calm professionalism of an evening news anchor. Though his material is shocking, it is far from crude. The comic is a Shakespeare buff, hosted a two-season show on Comedy Central, and named his recent hour-long special, "Caligula," after the perverse, vicious Roman emperor, objectively considered one of the most evil men in history.
