Description
We are proud to present ANDREW JEFFREY WRIGHT'S first solo exhibition on the West Coast.Wright’s exhibition will feature recent video/animation, photography, painting & drawings, collage, constructions and screen prints intended to provoke and provide a satirical and absurdly humorous social commentary on corporate infuence on life and popular culture.
Several works in the exhibition will be created specifically for the ever growing art collecting entity known as the corporation. The exhibition will also feature collaborations with Barry McGee, Clare E. Rojas, Isaac Lin and Crystal Kovacs.
Andrew Jeffrey Wright is a current and founding member of Philadelphia's Space 1026 art commune. He holds a BFA in Animation from the Rhode Island School of Design. The collaborative animation "the manipulators", created with Clare E. Rojas, won the top prize for animation at the New York Underground Film Festival and the New York Comedy Film Festival.
