An award that’s bittersweet, as this beloved neighborhood staple, which carried a wide variety of movies from every genre, is closing its doors. Owner Bill Seip prided himself on never getting rid of the last copy of any movie, and over 23 years the store built up possibly the largest independent collection in Northern California. American Video Center will be missed.
