Acupuncture, when administered by a fully trained and licensed Acupuncturist, is a safe and effective means of healthcare. It has been cited by the World Health Organization to successfully treat over 43 conditions, including pain, PMS, sciatica, neck/back pain, infertility, stress, insomnia, colds & flu, anxiety & depression, addiction, smoking cessation, headache, IBS and more! Because of its many health benefits, more and more Americans are using Chinese medicine for healthcare. According to the Journal of the American Medical Association, approximately 42 percent of all Americans are using complimentary therapies like Chinese medicine, spending more than $34 billion annually.

According to Chinese medical practitioners, Qi (or energy) is conducted between the surface of the body and internal organs along pathways called Meridians. It is Qi that regulates spiritual, emotional, mental and physical balance. When the flow of Qi is disrupted through poor health habits, stress or other circumstances, disease can result. Acupuncture and Chinese medicine can help keep the flow of this energy unblocked, thereby helping to maintain a person's health.
