5th Annual Luna Park Chalk Art Festival

Description

The 5th Annual Luna Park Chalk Art Festival is on Saturday, Sept. 22 from 10am to 5pm at Backesto Park.

Artists from all backgrounds will create colorful works of art on the pathways in the park while visitors can enjoy live music, shop for handmade arts and craft, and enjoy the delicious food from a variety of trucks and vendors. Local K-12 schools can participate for free if they register by the deadline.

Participating artists can purchase a vendor space for as low as $25.

Featured artists this year will include Lacey Bryant, Michael Foley, Paul J. Gonzalez, Wayne and Cheryl Renshaw, Katrina Marie Loera, and Carolina Chavez, just to name a few.

Musical guests will include local bands Cuatro con Tres and the James Counts Band.
