San Jose Sharks fans will be rallying downtown in the streets before tonight’s playoff game against the Vancouver Canucks.

The rally, which will kick off prior to Game 3 of the National Hockey League’s Western Conference finals, will feature carnival games, music, giveaways, face painting, and contests, organizers said.

In one contest, the lucky fan who correctly guesses the number of pucks in a box will win a Zamboni ride and a pair of tickets to a game next season, organizers said. Comcast SportsNet’s television show “Chronicle Live” is scheduled to broadcast live from the festive event.

The pre-game rally is open to the public and set to start at 4 p.m. next to HP Pavilion on Autumn Street between Santa Clara and St. John streets. Game 3 is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. For more information on the rally, visit www.sjsharks.com/streetrally.
