Wine Country Dining -- in Saratoga!
Located in charming Saratoga Village, Sent Sovi offers a fabulous menu of outstanding cuisine and boasts fine wines from Europe and special local California wineries.

Reminiscent of a charming European cottage, restaurant Sent Sovi in downtown Saratoga has become a culinary landmark in the Silicon Valley. Under the direction of Chef Josiah Slone, the elegant atmosphere and French-inspired California cuisine continues to impress restaurant connoisseurs and fulfill all expectations one would expect from a fine dining establishment. With all that Sent Sovi has to offer, it’s hard to avoid the temptation to eat at this Saratoga restaurant every night of the week.

Sent Sovi brings the wine country to Saratoga by hosting winemaker dinners and tasting events that feature local boutique and world-class wines. With an impressive temperature controlled wine cooler, Sent Sovi can offer several wines by the glass, making it easy for their guests to pair the perfect glass of wine with any meal.

For those looking to dine before an event at the Saratoga Mountain Winery or Villa Montalvo, Sent Sovi is located at the western end of the Saratoga Village and is just moments to both beautiful venues. Whether searching for a restaurant in San Jose or Saratoga to bring that special someone to or to entertain a large group, Sent Sovi can accommodate your needs and will almost assuredly exceed your expectations. Regular business hours are Tuesday through Sunday from 5pm to 10pm. Sent Sovi serves lunch for private events only.

Banquet Events and Tasting Menus
From wedding rehearsal dinners to corporate functions to celebratory banquets, Sent Sovi can accommodate up to 60 people in their front dining room and up to 30 people in the private wine cellar. Audio/Visual services are also available for all events.

Sent Sovi’s tasting menus are a restaurant connoisseur’s dream-come-true. The Chef Tasting Menu and Vegetarian Tasting Menu change daily and are based on market availability. The Grand Tasting Menu requires a 48-hour pre-order and consultation with Chef Josiah.

The cost of private parties (food and beverage minimums) may vary slightly depending on the season and the day, but typically remain around the following:
Main Room Buyout (30-60 people): $3500-$5000
Private Dining Room (6-30 people): $1000-$2500

If the food and beverage minimums are met with your party, Sent Sovi will not apply a room charge to your bill.

Email Sent Sovi for banquet menus and private party availability.

California Cuisine in a French Restaurant
Tapping into his local roots, Chef Josiah Slone uses only the finest ingredients from small farms and specialty purveyors. This practice keeps the menu fresh and constantly changing to appreciate the finest seasonal and local ingredients.

With a French countryside appeal, the dining room at Sent Sovi is decorated with copper wainscoting, handsome table settings and gorgeous artwork from local artists. Since the menu focuses on the seasonal bounty of California’s crops and ranches, Sent Sovi’s décor and ambiance changes right along with it, creating a warm and relaxing atmosphere all year long.

Try first course options like seared medallions of artisan Foie Gras on Brioche accompanied with a Strawberry and Pecan salad with a pomegranate reduction – or maybe Wasabi Dusted Day Boat Scallops with an English Cucumber salad and a Red Miso Aioli. Then move on to Spice Rubbed Niman Ranch Pork Tenderloin with Rosti potatoes, Blue Lake Bean Ragout or Creole Mustard Jus and Herb Dijon Marinated Rack of Lamb with Banana Fingerling Potatoes. No matter what you choose, your taste-buds are sure to be pleased. And don’t forget the Intermezzo, Cheese and Sweet Tastes courses just to round off your meal.

Come and see why Restaurant Sent Sovi has earned itself the well-deserved reputation as one of the most innovative and delicious dining experiences in the Bay Area. Reserve a table online.
